PetVille releases Betty the Baker and new window set

Today, PetVille has released a mini-set of new decorations that they're calling 'essential', but we're not exactly sure if they are. Either way, they're super cute and will make great additions for your pet's home. The first set of items is two separate windows that look out to very peaceful environments. The first is a Sunflower Afternoon Scene, which costs 29 Pet Cash. The second is the Valley Vineyard, which is a grape-filled view of the rolling countryside, also 29 Pet Cash.

In addition to the two windows, there are two new kinds of cellars, which are functionally the same as windows. The Stocked Pantry is chock full of food for your pet, although you can't actually go inside it and eat any of the food. This pantry will cost you 28 Pet Cash. The second new room is the Wine Cellar, which would go perfect with the Valley Vineyard window. This is also 28 Pet Cash.

Finally, there is a new Betty Baker pet (shown above) for 48 Pet Cash. She is animated and spends a lot of time mixing in her little bowl and licking the spoon. All of these items are limited time and are available for just over 6 days.

PetVille Enchanted Kingdom Coming Soon

PetVille developer Zynga has revealed where the next attic Magic Door will be taking players: The Enchanted Kingdom!
The preview image shows a Fairytale shoe house, so the expansion might be similar to the Fairyland magic door. The PetVille fan page states that players can expect “A world of kings and queens, princes and princesses. A world of castles, dragons and other fantastic things.” Exciting!

St. Patrick's Day comes to PetVille

St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Facebook games may have kicked off last week in FarmVille, but the luck of the Irish is quick to spread. Pet owners in PetVille can now decorate their pets and their homes with the shamrock spirit.
A quick trip to the PetVille furniture store will introduce you to “The Spot of Luck Collection,” a showcase of St. Patrick’s themed items placed at the very front of the store. In typical PetVille fashion the choices here are plentiful. Kegs and mugs containing green beer, pots of gold, and shamrock wallpaper are available to compliment a wide selection of furniture that would look at home in any Irish pub.
If you’re looking to participate in the wearing of the green you won’t need to stray far. Rather than offering clothing options in the clothing shop, Zynga has opted to offer all St. Patrick’s Day items in the furniture store showcase. Leprechaun hats and green dresses are up for grabs for anyone looking to get a little shamrock in their soul.
There’s no word on when these items will disappear, but with St. Patrick’s Day only a week away you’d better act fast!

PetVille goes green with new St. Patrick's Day 'Spot of Luck' collection

Look like St. Patrick's Day fever is spreading. First, we were introduced to the FarmVille Pot of Gold and now PetVille's getting into the spirit with its new Spot of Luck collection that includes a golden horseshoe, a different pot of gold, banners, balloons, clover wallpaper and more. Check all of the new goodies out in the PetVille store.

Note: at the time of this post the game stopped loading, so you might have a wait a little longer to get a little luck of the Irish.

PetVille FarmVille limited edition collectible #4: FarmVille Mini-Horsey

Hey, you got your PetVille in my FarmVille! No, you got your FarmVille in my Petville! Whichever way you want to phrase it, the PetVille FarmVille collectibles keep coming, as part of a 10-day limited edition series. The big item for Day #4 is -- drum roll please -- the FarmVille Mini-Horsey! This item will be around today only, and the only way to acquire one of these li'l ponies is to get one as a gift from your PV friends. (Hint: if you send your friends one, they'll be more likely to send you one back).

Items for the previous three days have included the FarmVille Farmer Dude, the FarmVille Farmer Gal and the FarmVille Barn. Based on the picture above, it looks like upcoming gifts will include a silo, a white fence and the rest -- well, your guess is as good as ours.
